Seniors IX: Lets keep in Touch.
Read this, This is definitely true for all Angelicans. :)
Credits to Lee Macapugay.

***NOTE: Kung may mga makabasa man nito na na-offend, sorry nalang. Peacemen :) COOL!

*** Feel free to grab. Just include my URL and that's fine :) Let us respect the intellectual property rights so basta okay lang sa akin na i-grab kasi i know that this is to "share" lalo na sa mga hindi Angelican :)

ANGELICAN ka kung (www.potchilee.multiply.com)...

~ If i know Ange lang ang may alam ng YS eh. Sa ibang school naman wala nito eh. :))

6. Ammonia a day keeps the Hilo away.

~ I dare you! Name it beybeh :))

16. Alam mo ang larong "Kapsen (Cops and Robbers)", "dakdakan", at "Touching".

Graduation Day.
KOLEHIYALA NA AKO! :)

Graduation Day: One of the most fulfilling days of my teenage life and the happiest day of my senior year.

Finally, All the hardships are paid off. Its a bittersweet ending but we all know that this is a new beginning for us. A new path for us to take and another opportunity to make memories and histories. I will miss the people that made my high school life complete, I will miss Seniors IX.

I don't have much to say, Kudos to EVERYONE for a job well done!

Eat Bananas and live healthy.
I've been eating banana ever since. Banana is one of my favorite fruits. I love its taste and the health benefits it gives my system. I researched the health benefits of banana and look what I've found:

Bananas contain three natural sugars - sucrose, fructose and glucose - combined with fiber. A banana gives an instant, sustained and substantial boost of energy. Research has proved that just two bananas provide enough energy for a strenuous 90-minute workout. No wonder the banana is the number one fruit with the world's leading athletes.

A banana can help overcome or prevent a substantial number of illnesses and conditions, making it a must for our daily diet.

Depression: According to a recent survey undertaken by MIND among people suffering from depression, many felt much better after eating a banana. This is because bananas contain tryptophan, one of the twenty common "amino acids" that make up all proteins that the body converts into serotonin, known to make you relax, improve your mood and generally make you feel happier.

PMS: Forget the pills - eat a banana. The vitamin B6 it contains regulates blood glucose levels, which can affect your mood.

Anemia: High in iron, bananas can stimulate the production of hemoglobin in the blood and so helps in cases of anemia.

Blood Pressure: This unique tropical fruit is extremely high in potassium yet low in salt, making it the perfect to beat blood pressure. So much so, the US Food and Drug Administration has just allowed the banana industry to make official claims for the fruit's ability to reduce the risk of blood pressure and stroke.

Brain Power: 200 students at a Twickenham (Middlesex) school were helped through their exams this year by eating bananas at breakfast, break, and lunch in a bid to boost their brain power. Research has shown that the potassium-packed fruit can assist learning by making pupils more alert.

Constipation: High in fiber, including bananas in the diet can help restore normal bowel action, helping to overcome the problem without resorting to laxatives.

Hangovers: One of the quickest ways of curing a hangover is to make a banana milkshake, sweetened with honey. The banana calms the stomach and, with the help of the honey, builds up depleted blood sugar levels, while the milk soothes and re-hydrates your system.

Heartburn: Bananas have a natural antacid effect in the body, so if you suffer from heartburn, try eating a banana for soothing relief.

Morning Sickness: Snacking on bananas between meals helps to keep blood sugar levels up and avoid morning sickness.

Mosquito bites: Before reaching for the insect bite cream, try rubbing the affected area with the inside of a banana skin. Many people find it amazingly successful at reducing swelling and irritation.

Nerves: Bananas are high in B vitamins that help calm the nervous system.

Overweight and at work: Studies at the Institute of Psychology in Austria found pressure at work leads to gorging on comfort food like chocolate and crisps. Looking at 5,000 hospital patients, researchers found the most obese were more likely to be in high-pressure jobs. The report concluded that, to avoid panic-induced food cravings, we need to control our blood sugar levels by snacking on high carbohydrate foods every two hours to keep levels steady.

Ulcers: The banana is used as the dietary food against intestinal disorders because of its soft texture and smoothness. It is the only raw fruit that can be eaten without distress in over-chronic ulcer cases. It also neutralizes over-acidity and reduces irritation by coating the lining of the stomach.

Temperature control: Many other cultures see bananas as a "cooling" fruit that can lower both the physical and emotional temperature of expectant mothers. In Thailand, for example, pregnant women eat bananas to ensure their baby is born with a cool temperature.

Seasonal Affective Disorder (SAD): Bananas can help SAD sufferers because they contain the natural mood enhancer, tryptophan.

Smoking: Bananas can also help people trying to give up smoking. The B6, B12 they contain, as well as the potassium and magnesium found in them, help the body recover from the effects of nicotine withdrawal.

Stress: Potassium is a vital mineral, which helps normalize the heartbeat, sends oxygen to the brain and regulates your body's water balance. When we are stressed, our metabolic rate rises, thereby reducing our potassium levels. These can be re-balanced with the help of a high-potassium banana snack.

Strokes: According to research in "The New England Journal of Medicine", eating bananas as part of a regular diet can cut the risk of death by strokes by as much as 40%"

Warts: Those keen on natural alternatives swear that if you want to kill off a wart, take a piece of banana skin and place it on the wart, with the yellow side out. Carefully hold the skin in place with a plaster or surgical tape!

See, Bananas do wonders! From now on, You should include banana in your every meal. :)

Summer Fun @ our Condo.
The start of my SUMMER.
Avida Towers, Paranaque
April 08-09 2009

My friends Nathaniel C., Jacqueline P.,Jetch V., Sean N. and my babe, Lloyd and I stayed overnight at our condominium at Sucat,Paranaque with my mom and her friends. Oh diba, di nagpatalo mom ko, her friends also stayed overnight together with us. Hahaha. Our condo is completely empty. Only few chairs were there. So mom and I brought sleeping blankets and some pillows, Steamer for foods, water heater, dvd player, laptop, foods and the like. Anything that we can use for our overnight.

We all decided to meet at Mcdo, Banawe. The most convenient rendesvouz for all of us. Mom and my childhood friend, Maika was with me. I told her that some of my friends will be riding with her and some of them will be riding with me in a taxi but she insisted that we can all fit in in our red lancer. Eight of us rode our red lancer all the way to our Condo. Imagine, Mom is Driving, Maika and I are in the front seat. While five of my friends tried to fit in at the back seat. Funny right? hahaha.

We arrived not before sun down. We went to the penthouse to enjoy the scenery of paranaque and went to the mall to buy some drinks and utensils. Strolled around and had fun. We went back to the unit and prepared for our night swimming. Everything was fun. The night swimming was a blast. We had an open forum before our meal and learned some random facts about my friends. Our first meal was great. I enjoyed every bit of it not because of the food but because of the closeness that we all have after the meal, Everyone had a great shower.

We finished washing up at around 2am and went up the penthouse. It was creepy. Something happened. We all felt something strange but then the view upstairs was nice and the wind was cool. We went back to the unit and watched a movie. We slept at around 4am while mosquitoes are having their siesta time on us. Hahaha.

The next day came. The morning sunshine awaken us. We all ate cup noodles for our breakfast. Watched movies, played psp, heart attack, 123 pass and talked about random stuffs. My grandma and my siblings came. They brought food for us. We ate and got ready for another dip in the pool. We overstayed. We finished swimming sun down. We ate our dinner, took a shower and got ready for our trip back to our homes.

I had fun with my friends. It is the first time that my friends had an overnight at our place and I really want to thank my mom for being very accommodating and caring. I really appreciate it. I love you mom! You're the best! :)

Seniors Day.
Baccalaureate Mass.
Recognition Day.
3-6pm.
Angelicum College GYM
April 03, 2009

Senior Ball.

6-12mn
Celebrity Plaza
April 03,2009

Three major events all happened on the same day and close time intervals.
Baccalaureate Mass. Its our thanksgiving mass. The last mass that we have had attended for our senior year. Everyone solemnly prayed and thanked our Dear God for surpassing all the hardships and pains that high school life had brought us and the Joy and the laughter that keep us wanting for more.

Recognition Day. The awarding ceremony. Many were overjoyed but some were depressed and disappointed for they have assumed that the award will be theirs. Over all event was great but a little bit boring but it was good.

Senior Ball. The best night of senior year. The event that everyone waited for. The program was boring but still, thanks to the Senior Council who exerted much effort on it. The outcome was good but it should have been better. Can I say something about the place? Okay, The place was great. I love the staircase and also the chandeliers. The waiters and waitresses were accommodating and attentive but the food wasn't that good. It didn't tasted well. So much for criticizing.

The Hosts announced " The dance floor is ours!" Everyone danced to the beat of the fast songs. Showdown began. Everyone went ecstatic but melded when the beat of slow song was tuned.
" Lets take it slow, So slow. " Who wouldn't want to dance with that kind of slow song? The first dance were surely memorable for everyone. My first dance was my best friend, My current love, Lloyd Frilles. He was my date. :) I've danced with some guy friends whom I shared memorable moments during my high school year. I will probably admit that the dance that was really especial to me next to the dance I had with my date was the Last dance I had with my former love, Charles Gaw. He was bitter to me the past few days and I wouldn't allow him to do that for the rest of the time. :)) We talked and reconciled about everything. I said sorry for all the things I've done wrong and we are now friends again but he's still mad and bitter to Lloyd. It was good that we talked because closure is what I wanted before everything ends. He somehow became a big part of my life and high school life.
One of the highlights of my night, the most memorable one, was while I was still dancing with Charles, He asked Charles if he could dance with me. Imagine the tension I felt that moment. I was stunned. I didnt know what to say and what to do for a split second of time. I was shocked. Imagine, He had the courage to do that, I asked him why, He told me that he cant stand it anymore, He cant stand the feeling of seeing me and my ex boyfriend together, dancing and enjoying. Imagine an ex boyfriend and a soon to be boyfriend. A former love and a Current love.

After party was even great. We spent overnight at Basco's house. Jaq, Sean, Nathaniel, Ralph, Lloyd and I stayed at Basco's house until afternoon the next day. We Watched movies and Had fun. :)
We were super cared by Basco's mom. Even I know that she wont be reading this, I want to thank her for the care she had given us. The breakfast was great! Hahaha.

April 3,2009 is the most memorable day for me.
