Health Hair.
Photobucket

I took my Mastery Activity in Basic Accounting. I was left there with a classmate and our dear facilitator, Sir Paul. Then he asked me if I am a CHINESE or a JAPANESE. I laughed and told him that I only have some Chinese blood from my paternal side. I wonder why he thought that I'm a Japanese just when I was about to ask him he said: " Akala ko japanese ka eh, Ang straight kasi ng buhok mo. " Ahmm. Do japanese really have straight hairs? Anyway. He followed it with the question. " nag pa rebond ka? ". If you just know Sir paul, Rebonding my hair never crossed my mind. I replied, " Hindi po. " He was stunned, From his expression I could tell that he's in a state of disbelief. " Talaga? Natural! " followed by my classmate " Kainggit nga sir eh. "

Of course I am proud of my crowning glory but before having this naturally straight hair, I've gone through hardships that no one could ever Imagine. Our hair isn't a living part of our body so we have to treat them well.

So here's my little secret.
  • I always brush my hair whenever I feel like brushing.
I only used a flat brush because according to our beautician, Flat brush makes hair straighter.
  • I stick to one shampoo and one conditioner.
I recommend Sunsilk green for it makes hair grow longer and faster.
  • When my hair is about to dry. I tie it neatly until it totally dries.
So sometimes when you see me in the morning, thats the reason behind why I tie my hair. It works for me. We have different hair types anyway. OR I brush my hair until it dries.
  • I avoid using flat irons.
I am really paranoid about flat irons. I worry so much that it will ruin my hair forever!

  • I regularly go for a hot oil once a month.
It helps maintain my healthy hair.

  • Good nutrition
a well - balanced diet of fresh foods and lots of water not only helps one to have beautiful - looking hair but also improves it's texture.

Your hair can indeed be your crowning glory if you treat it right!

For one more day.
I was dying to read FOR ONE MORE DAY of MITCH ALBOM. Luckily, Celina have a book and It was so nice of her to lend it to me. Thank you CELINA! I've read a lot of book reviews about this book and Even Celina herself said that the book is good so good that it made her cry. I already started reading it and the first parts are dragging me into the end! Charles recommended that I should also read TUESDAYS WITH MORRIE for it will teach me a lot of lessons in life.

Photobucket
Celina's For one more day and
Charles' The five people you meet in heaven.

I pity Charles in trigonometry because our facilitator is really giving him a hard time. IMAGINE, Our dear Sir Mendoza is always giving him 2 or 3 sets of M.A (Mastery Activity a.k.a EXAM ) in one time! and just this afternoon, Sir Mendoza gave him 4 sets of M.a in Module 23! Look!

Photobucket

I overheard that he's a candidate for General Excellence. Wooah! Galing naman! I only succeeded in academics when I was in elementary. The highest achievement I had was only Second honorable mention in short, Second Honor and the lowest was 4th honarable mention way back when I was still in graded school. I am proud of my achievements! Hahaha.

This afternoon, Charles, Regina, Reinard and I went to Red Ribbon just to eat a delicious cake. We had a hard time deciding because everything looks and tastes great. In the End we all decided to munch in with DULCE DE LECHE. Charles' Favorite!

Korean Cooking.
Last week, Auntie Becca ( Charles' Mom ) asked me to come to a Korean cooking session at Tanglaw University Center located at examiner, Quezon City. Yesterday, We went to Tanglaw together to attend the said session. I arrived at their house as early as expected, Well thats what I thought. I was shocked when I saw their time, I was 10 minutes late while in my watch I was 10 minutes early. Turns out that their time is advanced. Thank God.

Charles wasn't their when I arrived. He was on his way home from the Math Quiz Bee at U.P Diliman when I was at their house. I chilled with Mica, Charles younger sister. We read W.I.T.C.H magazine and answered lots of surveys and quizzes. It was sad when we already had to go and When I had to leave Shobe already, I really enjoy spending time with Mica Luckily, Auntie asked me to eat dinner with them. Yipee! :) I call her shobe by the way. In case you dont know, Shobe means Younger sister in Chinese. Charles arrived home, he was in a hurry. He was late for a badminton game. He prepared his things and then We went on our way and dropped off charles along the way. Auntie Becca, Uncle Charlie and I went to supermarket to buy rice and I learned a fast fact from Auntie:

" Kapag ma-bilog at medyo clear na maputi ang bigas, Magandang Klase yun. "

She even showed me the difference between the good and the bad quality of rice.
Wow. I learned something new. :)
then Uncle Charlie dropped us at Tanglaw.

We first went to the Oratory to attend the Meditation and Benediction then we headed straight to the Demo room where the Cooking Session will be held. Hands on are allowed so I had the chance to cut the vegetables. I cut the black mushroom. I had fun! Hahaha! then the demo started, The dessert was prepared first because it needs to be in the fridge then the appetizer called Cabbage then the Jap Chae Korean noodles and the Broken Glass as the Dessert. Too bad I didn't had the chance to take good pictures of the foods for the reason that my DIGICAM BROKE. Anyway, Sorry for the bad quality of pictures I took pictures using my N70 phone. :)

Tips for a Whiter Teeth.
When we smile, our teeth plays a big role even when we eat, without our teeth we cant chew our favorite yums. :) I am blessed for having a beautiful whites. I do not need braces just to make my pearly whites beautiful. I am proud to say that my whites are NATURAL! :)

Here some tips for a bright white teeth the easy way.

Chew for a brighter whites.
  • There are certain foods that stain our teeth like red wine, coffee, soy sauce, berries and a lot more but little did we know, there are also food that helps whiten our teeth. The fibrous foods such as apple, lettuce, celery, broccoli and also strawberry helps remove the stains in our teeth. The following foods remove stains by exfoliating teeth before the stain molecules have the time to attach deeply to the surface. It's like a skin scrub for your smile!
Drink through a straw

  • There are colored beverages that stains our teeth. So make sure to drink with a straw so that it wont seep through our whites. Also try brushing our teeth after drinking a teeth-staining beverages.
Kiss the stain away.
  • Some lip colors can actually make your teeth look significantly whiter and even darker! So Learn to choose the right lipstick shade for you. try nude shades or pinks that have bluish undertones.
Whitening Floss.

  • In addition to whitening the spaces in our teeth, Whitening Floss also helps maintain healthy gums too. Neglecting to care for your gums will eventually cause them to look red and irritated, detracting from your smile.

Use whitening toothpastes

  • Whitening toothpastes may promise to keep your pearly whites sparkling, but the truth is, toothpaste itself doesn't whiten teeth—it only helps scrub away stains before they settle in and discolor your enamel. (Always remember to brush before bedtime, since neglecting to do will give stains a chance to set overnight.)

SPEECH ORATION ELIMINATION.
Speech oration probably made the classes of YS11( SENIORS ) to be united again but not REALLY for our class for the reason that WE, OUR CLASS, The magsenians did not actually presented the speech oration as a whole because we HAD to eliminate boys and even girls from our class for the fact that they have not memorized the speech piece. I also think that its one of the reasons why we did not even had a place in the elimination round because we lack voices but over all, Our class had a great time. If you have noticed, Our class had a plain, formal presentation that is because we have been told by our CAE facilitator that there must be less actions or that will be equivalent to deduction of points and so, We focused on the variation of our voices. At the end we all wondered for what happened.

For the winners,
I am very much happy for the Blanco's Class, At least, At this point of time, They had proven that they are great, not only as an individual but as a whole class. I know they wanted this all along. I am proud of the achievement of Blanco's Class this time. I am proud especially for my friends in Blanco's Class.
Cruz's Class had a great presentation. Its like I have seen
again the same thing that happened at the Gym, two months ago. They are indeed, a united class.

BATCH MATES, Lets just all congratulate the winners of the elimination round. Lets be proud and lets support them.

and ow, Kindly answer the poll located at the right side of my blog. Do not take it seriously by the way. It is just for fun.

CONSTRUCTIVE CRITICISMS ARE ALLOWED.

When I grow up I want ...
When I grow up I want to help people who are in need. When I grow up I want to make my family even more happier.

I may be rich but when I grow up I will work hard and even harder to attain my goals and dreams. When I grow up I want to have a ROOM (not a cabinet) full of vanity. Full of clothes, Shoes, Lingerie, accessories and everything I could wish for to satisfy my vanity.

When I grow up I want to drive my own BMW and live in my own house with all the latest technology/gadgets I wanted. I want everything in life but I know these things will never be equal to eternal happiness.

Lastly, When I grow up, I want someone to share all my life with and spend it like there is no tomorrow. Hey, It might be CMG. Its him who I wanted to share my whole life with. My dream is to love once. Why not dream to be with him forever and love him endlessly? :)

My cute brother and my jealous dog.

I had a wonderful morning, I woke up with a bright and cloudy sunshine and everything went as great as it sounds when my little cutie brother made me laughed. I was at the laundry area when my little brother, Samuel came up and talked to me. We were talking when suddenly he paused and said:

"HALA. Atsi (Ate), patay na ilaw. " with bulol effect pa.

I wondered why he said that, It was a bright, cloudy morning and I was not using any light that moment. little did I noticed, The sun was covered with a cloud that made the sky dark and that made him say " Patay na ilaw ". I was laughing so hard. I can't literally stop myself from laughing when the sky went bright again that made my brother say:

"Ayan... Bukas na ilaw. Yehey!"

and I laughed even more when the sky went dark again:

" Hala Atsi, Patay ulit Ilaw " baby talk.

" Patay ulit? Eh di turn the lights on. Buksan mo ilaw. "

He Laughed and said:

"Hindi ko abot eh. hehehe. " (switch: He cant reach the switch of the light daw.)

HAHAHAHA! I cant stop laughing at him. It feels so good to have a little brother by your side. He's actually my stress reliever. Whenever I ask (even if I'm not asking) for a hug or a kiss, He always give in and make lambing.

- - -
My dog is very watchful of strangers. Whenever someone he's not familiar with or a stranger goes in our house, He always barks at them. Even though they have been to our house numerous of times already, He always barks at them for a reason I understand. My dog knows who to bark at and who to mingle with. He even understand when we are hiring a new maid. We just had a new maid yesterday and guess what,Today, He doesn't bark at our new maid anymore! This happened numerous of times already. Whenever we are having a new maid, He doesn't seem to bother when he sees them but when my boyfriend, Charles is here at our house, Even though, He's always here. My dog always barks at him but when a new maid comes, He doesn't even bark at all. He even plays with our new maid. Weird. Maybe he can really understand things. My grandma said, Maybe My dog, Pancho barks at Charles ,even though Charles been to our house numerous times is because my dog is JEALOUS of him. HAHAHA

Helpful tips to stop gaining weight.
I love my body. I love everything about my body. I am contented with what I have though I have the smallest waist line compared to all of my classmates (next to gwen who is the slimmest girl of our class), Having a 24 inches waist, Of course, I stop myself from gaining much weight. I found this helpful tips in Cosmo magazine. I hope this will help you. I am very willing to share this to all of you.

Stop gaining weight and read this.

  • Never go grocery-shopping hungry.
It will lead you to load your cart with the most decadent items available.

  • Eat apples and lose weight
An apple is pack with fiber, nutrients, and water. So, If you munch on one, your stomach will feel full and you'll be unlikely to binge. People who eats apples before meal, lose weight faster.

  • Deep breathing can help
Hate looking at your abs, or whatever it is that passes for your abs? Take a deep breath and suck in your stomach for a few seconds. Repeat the action 10 times. Do it as often as you can. You'll see inches from your middle disappear soon enough.

  • Laughter is the best medicine
Laughter is very, very good for you. Not only does it exercise the muscles of your abdomen, It also helps burn loads of calories.

  • Milk your way to Weight loss
Experts find that getting too little calcium triggers the release of hormone called calcitriol, which tells the body to store fat instead of burn it. When calcium levels are sufficient, calcitriol levels remain low, and the body burns fat instead of storing it.

  • Pinch your ears to stop eating
If you feel your willpower suddenly slipping when confronted by sinful goodies on a tray, try pinching the small area of cartilage where your jaws start, just below the ears-this is an appetite control point according to acupuncturists. See if this helps you to stay off heavy treats.

  • Sleep more
Research into sleep and hormone function found that your metabolism rises and you burn calories more efficiently when you are well rested.

  • Go to the Mall
Go to the Mall and then spend all the time you want to doing what you always do--look around. Eventually, Choose a pile of clothes and then try them all out one by one. You obviously dont need to buy them all. This is a wonderful workout and one you'll enjoy as well.

  • Dont stop Fidgeting
Fidgeting: act of being nervous or adrenaline rush.
Fidgeting can burn a hundreds of calories a day. Every time you run to grab the phone, stand up and pace around for no reason, walk around during that TV commercials or while talking on your cellphone, tap your feet to the beat of the music playing, crack your knuckles, or even just stand instead of sitting down, you're actually shedding those extra pounds.

  • Don't confuse thirst for hunger ( I love this! This works for me. )
Always grab a bottle of water when stepping out of the house. Reach for that when the first hunger pangs strike-often what you mistake for hunger is actually thirst. So, the next time inexplicable hunger assails you, reach for water first, as drinking also helps you feel full.

I hope this helps you :)
